EquaBuy™ is a horizontal Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), also known as a buying consortium. EquaBuy™ consolidates the buying power of clients who join the consortium to achieve volume-based discounted pricing on expenditures for indirect goods and services.
EquaBuy™ is funded through rebates from selected suppliers and does not charge a fee to its members, nor does it require a minimum purchase amount. For the purpose of negotiating discounts, EquaBuy™ will ask each member to estimate their annual spending for each category. Top tier members will have input into supplier selection during RFPs and those with the lowest volume of purchasing are most likely to see the greatest percentage of savings.
